Company name:  "metrμm"

In the middle of 2002 the name of the company  FORTE, that does not fit to the scope of out activity, was be changed to METRUM (from Latin: meter, measure) more identified with the scope of our business.
Though, in many documents you will see the name FORTE, as well as METRUM.

 

History:

Founder of the company M.Sc.Eng.Marek Kania achieved a degree of   Mechatronics Dept. of the Warsaw Technical University and 12 years worked as an engineer - specialist for measuring systems and quality.
The biggest successes of the period are:

  • 8 patented solutions of measuring systems,

  • introduction CAM into production of thread gauges (in 1988),

  • many quality analyses of the products or processes finished with establishing of the technological conditions for the production process.

Company FORTE was established on 1990.10.01, with the hope for continuing of the creative activities in the own company. First market contacts showed how mistaken was the idea.
After 9 years of cooperation with the international packaging group Van Leer  the idea came back.
In the next market test, during Industrial Fairs in Poznan, in June 2000, the estimation of the situation was quite good (many visitors in out stand)  and the activity was fully reoriented on Metrology.
Since September 2000  FORTE deals exclusively with the equipment for quality e.g. measuring systems, testers, measuring software.
Our measuring systems are built of the parts from the best world suppliers, with the preference for polish or European manufacturers, if they achieve world quality level.

Our main fields of interest are:
         ¡          vision systems  (camera + computer)
         ¡          integration of quality systems (laboratory or quality department)
         ¡          special measuring systems or testers (prototypes).

Our team have big experience in: metrology, automatics, optics, mechanics, base of electronics and programming - what gives us possibilities to process complicated projects.
