Vision Systems  (camera + optics + computer) are used for:     - measurements     - product inspection     - picture and object recognition      - characters and text recognition (OCR) and in last years develop very intensively. Vision Systems have some specific limits but because of the touchless operation they develop quickly. Depending on the chose of the camera and illumination the system can work in the visible light, IR or X-radiation and in combination with different optical elements gives wide measurements possibilities. metrμm deals with vision systems first of all in measurements. Up to now we have made measuring systems for geometrical properties of small, complicated and fragile objects. We do not have any standard solutions because there are NO standard obiects. In each case vision system must be individually adapted to the customer's measurement task.
